Medence Csoport won the call for applications of the 9th district’s local government for the venue nearby the Central Market Hall in 2007.

MakettLabor offers insight into creative processes. This venue acts as a constantly changing and transparent crossing point; it serves as office, workshop and gallery for Medence Csoport, and also gives space to temporary exhibitions, community and cultural programmes and performances.

The programmes are organized as fusions of art–environment–community. Events are connected to the topics of architecture, applied arts, crafts&design and environmental awareness.
